The City and County have both expressed formal support for the continued
development of the Billings Bypass. The Billings North Bypass Feasibility
Study, completed in 2001, concluded that a bypass was feasible from
an economic and engineering standpoint and should be advanced for environmental
assessment and refinement. City and County collaboration on planning
efforts for the bypass will play a key role in this project.
